Story

Jeff Bezos built Amazon using the idea of "Flywheel" - one that applies to every #Business, especially a #Startup.
Success is based on focus and hard work. 💪🏼 But dive a little deeper and the flywheel can enable clarity and drive strategy for any business in any industry.

Growth

It’s easy to get lost in vanity metrics and data points- The only metric that matters [With Fancy Slides]
Every entrepreneur is behind the set of perfect metrics 💯 which could measure the exact growth and scale of the product. However, only a few know that there is a single metric which matters the most and it is as simple as this question: How many people are really using your product?

12 Quotes on Entrepreneur Burnout And Depression, From Those Who’ve Walked The Path.
49% of a whopping 242 entrepreneurs survey reported having a mental-health condition. 😯 Depression was the highest-reported reported condition, being present in 30% of all entrepreneurs. A few quotes to uplift those who have taken the same road.

Curious

Skeptical view 👀 of #Startup conventional wisdom. The mantras inside the Silicon Valley bubble
Yes, you heard it RIGHT! 90% of startups are failing. Failure isn’t a natural law like gravity. It’s not a given. Startup Land’s collective knowledge is one part mythology, one part advice, one part inspiration, and zero parts business school–sanctioned case study.  What data says otherwise.

Finding greatness | The Fear of Failure | Facing the Unknown | Adversity, Self-Esteem, Gratification and Addiction
Why is it that one set of circumstances knocks one person down and becomes the resource with which another person builds themselves up and what is the difference between people who after extreme experiences survive? Life, relationships, career fulfilment and making an impact is a journey - there's no app for that 📱

Design

Experience designers and theatre artists are alike in their shared understanding of human empathy - How Jason Yuan redesigned Apple Music after getting rejected
Wouldn’t it be awesome if, immediately after checking into a café on Facebook, Apple Music updates the Mood section to Focus/Study playlists? 😎

Story

The givers (innovators) are getting replaced by the takers ($$$) and it’s strangling Silicon Valley.
The anecdotes from the time when Silicon Valley was just a valley and innovation was the way of life, moreover, a way of giving back to the society 😇 The thoughts provoked by certain experiences associated with Micah's childhood makes him wonder if Silicon Valley still has that charm or is it lost in the capitalism where innovation is a term used to extract value from customers rather than delivering to customers.

Growth

A growth marketer must know the most important lesson of all: anything sent out to users — even a dot — yields valuable data.
The importance of A/B testing is for real, realise each and every aspect of data sent to users make a lot of difference. So, internalise every number, and use those results to inform what you do next. 🆎

Promotion orientation for the Male entrepreneurs and prevention for the Female founders - How VC quizzing differs? [Magical beasts are dressed-up ponies]

What came out from the video transcriptions of the Q&A sessions of TechCrunch Disrupt NY is such an enormous dark spot on the startup funding 💸 VC's posed different types of questions to male and female entrepreneurs.

Productivity

Success is subject to one's own perspective. Only you can decide and define your success or failure.
Success always triggers a winning streak in 'our' minds but is it really the same string which is being pulled? As a matter of fact, everybody 'lies' because people define their goals in response to a number of stimuli it could be out of hatred for being poor, drive to make this world a better place, etc. and such success can't be measured by anybody exterior to the situation. So, the day you start being truthful to yourself, you start winning 🚀

When we push ourselves to explain something in a sentence or two, you have to really understand what you are working on...you can't have it all...people want sophisticated explanations, but those do not mean long explanations.
